This building is tucked into the north corner of the garden food forest at the homestead of Nala Walla and Keeth Apgar of B Collective, "a rural-based umbrella organization dedicated to promoting holistic understanding and revisiting of sustainability community, and providing the means for its practical implementation through active cross-pollination between the arts and sciences."
Directions will be provided upon rsvp.

About our Flow10am - 5pm, roughly
* We will be laying the floor on Sunday, and doing the "next steps" the following Tuesday & Wednesday - April 19 & 20. * This little building is ready to be finished! Each step brings us closer. Come learn this technique of using natural materials (clay, sand, and straw!) to create a durable and beautiful floor. Earthen floors are most similar wood floors in terms of their durability and needed care. Natural builder Hannah Poirier will be offering demonstration and guidance for key points in the building process, materials use, and site considerations. Wellness Educator Nala Walla will be offering playful somatic skill-building for strengthening our body-mechanics and flexing our mindfulness "muscle." This is primarily hands-on, working with the materials as a way of learning, with education-focused breaks to answer questions and talk about key points in the building process, materials use, and site considerations. It's satisfying to see the work we can accomplish when we work together using minimal tools and simple technologies. Work hard, and play hard too!!!! We like to sing while we work, and chocolate tends to also be involved. Kids are welcome for the duration, but you provide your own childcare. MealsNala will masterfully design a nutrient-dense local food lunch to be provided for all participating Muddy Buddies.
Drinking water and chocolate will be available throughout. (yes that's right) Bringwater bottle
